At the beginning of a commission we will draw up a written contract with the client. In this contract (commission agreement) we will define the matter at hand, the method of communicating with the client, and the bases and schedule for billing. The agreement will also include our general terms and conditions on the duties of both the client and of the attorney at law.
For drawing up a single document, such as a testament, a marriage settlement agreement or a bill of sale, or for advising in a single matter, we will provide the client with our basis for pricing.
In case the commission is based on a court order or other official appointment, or in case we are acting as an otherwise chosen mediator, we will adhere to the legislation and other directions issued in each matter.
